Aberfeldy 22 Year Old 2001 White Port Finish (Exceptional Cask Series)

Part of Aberfeldy's Exceptional Cask Series, this 22 Year Old White Port Cask Finish is a double cask limited edition personally selected by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod from the distillery's maturing stock. Filled in November 2001 and transferred to White Port casks in July 2022, it represents one of just 276 bottles — a genuinely rare opportunity to experience Aberfeldy's celebrated honeyed Highland character in a form that will not be repeated. Aberfeldy Distillery was established in 1898 in Perthshire, drawing process water from the Pitilie Burn, a source long associated with alluvial gold deposits and renowned for its purity. Distilled in alembic copper pot stills crafted by Forsyths, the distillery produces a fruity, richly honeyed style that has long defined its reputation as the Golden Dram. Here, that character has spent the majority of its life in refill hogsheads and refill barrels before finishing in White Port casks, which have lent a bright stone fruit lift and delicate floral freshness to the whisky's deep, honeyed foundation. Bottled at natural cask strength of 51.7% without chill-filtration, this is a collector's release of considerable distinction. Tasting Note by Aberfeldy:Delightful interplay of ripe peaches, nectarines and apricots , subtle vanilla undertones slowly emerge, with a zest of orange peel and delicate spices adding a layer of warmth, the cask finish perfectly accentuating the honeyed notes of Aberfeldy.

Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva Rum Cask Finish

Distilled and matured at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, at the heart of Speyside, this 21 year old expression represents one of the most distinctive releases in the distillery's core range. Founded in 1887 by William Grant, Glenfiddich remains family owned and is one of the most celebrated single malt producers in Scotland. Two decades of patient maturation in traditional oak casks allows the distillery's signature character to develop fully before Malt Master Brian Kinsman hand selects individual barrels for the final stage. Those selected casks are transferred into Caribbean reserva rum casks for a finishing period that introduces a layer of tropical warmth and spice to the established Speyside foundation. The result is a whisky of considerable complexity, balancing the restrained richness of a long Speyside maturation with the more animated character that rum cask finishing imparts. At 40% ABV, it is approachable without sacrificing depth, and presents exceptionally well as a gift or a considered addition to a maturing collection. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: Intense and vanilla sweet. Floral, hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak.Palate: Initially soft, then brisk, vibrant and drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices.Finish: Very long, warming, dry and spicy.

Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old Turas Math No.1 (The Westering Home Collection)

Founded in 1881 on the remote northern shore of Islay, Bunnahabhain sits at the end of a single-track road on the Sound of Islay, making it one of the most isolated and characterful distilleries in Scotland. Its unusually tall, pear-shaped stills with elongated swan necks produce a lighter, oilier spirit than its Islay neighbours, and the distillery is notably one of the few on the island to work with unpeated barley. Mineral-rich water drawn from the Margadale Spring, sea air rolling in off the Sound, and a philosophy of non-chill filtration without added colour define the Bunnahabhain house style across every expression. Turas Math No.1 is the opening release in the Westering Home Collection, a three-part series rooted in the distillery's maritime heritage. The whisky is a marriage of two exceptional cask journeys, personally selected by Master Blender Julieann Fernandez. The first parcel was distilled in 2008 and spent its full 15 years maturing in Manzanilla Sherry casks from Jerez. The second parcel matured for a decade in refill casks before receiving a five-year finish in Amarone wine casks from the Veneto region of Italy. The union of these two paths produces a whisky of layered sweetness, coastal character and considered complexity, bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration or added colour. A compelling collector's release and an equally distinguished gift. Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:Nose: A burst of dark fruits including black cherries, plums, and blackberries, intertwined with cloves and roasted nuts.Palate: Fresh cinnamon pastries and treacle toffee blend with hazelnut, dried figs, and soft herbal notes.Finish: Warm spices linger on the palate, accented by a hint of sea spray.

Laphroaig 10 Year Old Cask Strength (Batch 17)

Distilled on the storm-swept southern shore of Islay, Laphroaig has been producing some of the world's most recognisable and uncompromising single malts since 1815. The distillery's defining character comes from its own floor maltings, where barley is dried over a peat fire cut from the mossy bogs directly behind the buildings, and from the cold Atlantic air that shapes every cask as it matures in the warehouses facing the sea. That combination of place, process and patience is what makes Laphroaig one of the most distinctive addresses in Scotch whisky. Batch 17 of the Cask Strength expression is bottled without chill-filtration or water reduction, preserving the full natural character of the spirit exactly as it leaves the barrel. At 58.3% ABV, this is Laphroaig at its most direct and unadulterated, a release that rewards those who want to explore the distillery's signature interplay of sweet fruit, coastal salinity and deep Islay peat. A serious addition to any collection, and a compelling choice for the whisky enthusiast who already knows what they love. Dewar's 21 Year Old Double Double

Named the world's best blended Scotch at the 2025 World Whiskies Awards, the Dewar's Double Double 21 Year Old is the result of a method most distilleries have never attempted. The Double Double sequence uses four casks — not in parallel, but in order. Bourbon first, to lay the foundation. Sherry second, for dark fruit and depth. Marsala third, adding richness no single finish can reach. Finally, Madeira — a fortified wine cask almost absent from Scotch production — closes the sequence with a warmth collectors specifically seek and rarely find. Twenty-one years for the sequence to complete. Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered. Nothing removed that belongs in it. The result is velvety and unhurried — deep notes of ripe fruit, sweet honey, and dark chocolate, with a sherried finish that lingers long after the glass is empty. Tasting Note by Dewar's: Nose: Sweet stone fruits, golden honey, creamy vanilla and subtle citrus zest. Palate: Smooth white chocolate, delicate cinnamon spice and layered dried fruit with nutty undertones. Finish: Long and silky, with a refined balance of fruit, oak sweetness and the gentle warmth of sherry.

Founded in 1892 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, The Balvenie has long been defined by its commitment to traditional craftsmanship and the mastery of wood. The distillery maintains its own floor maltings, cooperage and coppersmith team, and its succession of Malt Masters has built a body of work that places cask management at the very centre of the whisky making process. It was Honorary Ambassador and former Malt Master David C. Stewart MBE who first developed the technique of wood finishing in 1982, a practice now widely used across the industry but originating here on the Balvenie Estate. First released in 1996 and considered by many to be David C. Stewart's finest creation, the PortWood 21 Year Old brings together a marriage of rare Balvenie whiskies that have been matured for over two decades in traditional American oak whisky casks before being transferred to port pipes, the large casks used to age fine port wines. The port cask finishing stage is sampled regularly by the Malt Master to ensure the right degree of character is imparted, enhancing and developing the spirit whilst preserving the depth and complexity built over twenty-one years. Balvenie 12 Year Old DoubleWood

Founded in 1892 by William Grant in Dufftown, at the heart of Speyside, The Balvenie is one of Scotland's most craft-focused distilleries, maintaining its own floor maltings, cooperage and coppersmith team on site. It is a place where traditional methods have been preserved not as a point of heritage but as a genuine commitment to quality, and that philosophy runs through every expression in the range. The distillery's Malt Master lineage is among the most celebrated in the industry, with David C. Stewart MBE spending over five decades shaping its character before passing the role to Kelsey McKechnie. DoubleWood 12 was launched in 1993, built on a wood finishing technique pioneered by David C. Stewart in 1982 that has since become widely adopted across the industry. The whisky first matures in traditional whisky oak casks, which impart warming vanilla and gentle spice, before being transferred to European oak Sherry casks for a further period of maturation that adds fruity, honeyed depth and greater complexity. The whiskies are then married for three to four months in large oak tuns to allow full integration before bottling. A Global Wine and Spirit Winner in 2016, DoubleWood 12 is one of the most approachable and consistently praised expressions in the Speyside canon, and a reliable choice for gifting or as an introduction to The Balvenie range. Tasting Note by Balvenie:Nose: Sweet fruit and Oloroso sherry notes, layered with honey and vanilla.Palate: Smooth and mellow with beautifully combined flavours ~ nutty sweetness, cinnamon spiciness and a delicately proportioned layer of sherry.Finish: Long and Warming.

Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve

Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich remains family-owned across five generations and has long paired its tradition of independent craft with a genuine spirit of experimentation. The distillery's Malt Master Brian Kinsman has overseen the development of expressions that push the boundaries of what Speyside single malt can offer, and the 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is one of the clearest demonstrations of his approach to cask management and finishing. After fourteen years of maturation in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, which draw out the distillery's characteristic fresh fruit character alongside developing layers of vanilla and caramel sweetness, Kinsman transfers selected parcels to charred new American oak barrels for a final finishing period. The use of new wood at this stage, still unusual in Scotch whisky production, adds a deeper layer of toasted oak richness and spice that elevates the expression beyond a conventional Speyside profile. The result is a whisky with the freshness and fruit-forward quality Glenfiddich is known for, given additional weight and complexity by two distinct encounters with American oak. A distinctive Flagship Collection bottling and a well-considered gift for the whisky drinker who enjoys something a little off the beaten track. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: Deep vibrant vanilla notes with hints of citrus, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon. Baked apple and ripe summer fruits and balanced with the rich oaky aromas.Palate: Beautifully rich and sweet with layers of creamy toffee, woody spices, candied orange peel and fresh toasted oak.Finish: Long lasting with lingering sweetness.
