Benriach's Smoke Season Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a special edition that harkens back to the historical roots of the Speyside region. While Speyside is not commonly associated with heavily peated or smoky whiskies, records from the 19th century indicate that such styles were once a part of the region's distilling tradition.
This special edition whisky is crafted to celebrate the time of year when peated spirit runs through Benriach's stills, a tradition that was revived by the distillery over 50 years ago. Smoke Season is a small-batch release that showcases one of Benriach's time-honored production techniques.
What sets this whisky apart is its intense smokiness, balanced with exquisite sweetness. It undergoes a two-cask maturation process, aging in both American virgin oak and bourbon barrels. These wood types are intentionally chosen to enhance and amplify the toasted sweet notes present in Benriach's smoky spirit.

Laphroaig Quarter Cask pays homage to an old whisky transportation tradition involving smaller quarter casks. Their 100% Rye Mashbill starts with 91% Raw Elbon Rye from Northwest Texas, along with cara, chocolate, and roasted rye, fully processed on-site in Waco, Texas. They use some of the tallest Forsyth copper pot stills in the world, creating a rich, viscous spirit. Each recipe undergoes a tailored 7-day fermentation, enhancing the development of fruity aromas. Texas's extreme temperature fluctuations deeply influence the whisky's flavour, as the spirit interacts with the oak casks through intense summers and cooler winters.

Project 04 // Inverarity Morton is a limited-edition blended Scotch whisky created in collaboration with Inverarity Morton—a family-run business supporting the whisky trade since 1945. With a focus on bold character and versatility, this malt-forward blend was designed to surprise and delight, whether served neat or in mixed drinks.
Blended in February 2024 and bottled at 49.1% ABV, only 470 bottles were produced. The whisky features an extended finishing period in a yet-to-be-specified cask, chosen to add a final flourish in honour of Inverarity Morton’s ‘extra mile’ ethos.
