Highland Park doesn't always take the easy route when it comes to making whisky. For Triskelion, they decided to involve not just one, but three legendary Highland Park Whisky Makers – Gordon Motion, Max McFarlane, and John Ramsay. Together, they embarked on a journey to delve into the intricate influence of wood and cask seasoning on their whisky. These three Master Whisky Makers meticulously hand-selected and blended three primary cask types: first-fill sherry seasoned Spanish oak butts, first-fill sherry seasoned American oak casks, and ex-bourbon barrels and hogsheads.
