The Aberfeldy 25 Year Old Sherry Cask whisky has been meticulously aged for over two decades in a blend of re-fill hogsheads and refill butts. It was then refined for over a year in First-fill Oloroso Sherry casks. These Oloroso casks not only enhance Aberfeldy's innate rich and fruity essence but also introduce a captivating spiced undertone.

Tasting Note by Aberfeldy:
Nose: Wild strawberries and ripe peaches, cocoa powder, creamy caramel and warming cinnamon.
Palate: Delicate fruit rests on a malty, cereal base.
Finish: Hint of vanilla, coffee and a long satisfying finish.

Aberfeldy 25 (125th Anniversary release).

I haven't tasted it yet, but I've heard good reviews. What I can say is the box comes protected in a white cardboard sleeve, which is a good idea as the box itself is a stunning. The artwork is beautiful. It then opens up from the front to reveal more artwork and a superb presentation of the bottle. The label on the bottle follows the same artwork as the box and even the top of the Cork has a wonderful gold decorated cap. A lot of thought has gone into this and without a doubt the whole package is a quality item.
