The Master Distiller at Arran collaborated with renowned Sherry Bodegas in Jerez, Spain, ensuring only the finest casks are chosen for aging the esteemed spirit.

Arran sherry cask

First time order from JPHA. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Regular updates about the order/shipping, and accommodated my request to delay shipping by a few days so I knew I'd be at home to take delivery. Will certainly be ordering from here again.

As for the sherry cask Arran, it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. The sherry influence is obvious, but it isn't a sherry bomb. You can still detect the signature citrus/apple notes of the Arran spirit.

55.8% ABV but really smooth Sherry cask

I buy this quite regularly. However drinking it can be dependent on my mood. Sometimes it's just a bit harsh (i like mine straight up) so I'll have to leave it. Other times it's great. I've come to realise: I think you have to be quite hydrated before drinking it to get the most out of it or it'll just taste too alcoholic.

Because of the highs, i keep coming back to it because, like most Arran's it really good quality.

Not great! Not as smooth as I would have liked. The alcohol lingers even after adding water. Not impressed . Cheaper ones out there for the price

ABSC

This is the first time I have tried the ABSC dram and I have not been disappointed. As expected the whisky when tasted reflects the smooth taste of a spirit that’s been matured in these sherry casks. A very nice drop which I will enjoy.

An excellent replacement for the Allardice I can no longer buy.
Having tried this for a few weeks I am beginning to think it is the better of the two

This is a really enjoyable dram and good value for money, intensely sherried with a bit of a kick.

Fantastic dram, my favourite cask strength sherried whisky. Fruitier and sweeter than the more expensive Glenallachie 10 cask strength
