Benriach The Twelve Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a delightful expression that showcases the artistry of the distillery's maturation process. This whisky is matured for at least twelve years, and it undergoes a unique three-cask maturation.

To create Benriach Twelve, the spirit is matured in three types of casks: sherry casks, bourbon barrels, and port casks. This triple maturation imparts a rich and complex flavor profile to the whisky. It's a harmonious marriage of different cask influences.

Tasting Note by BenRiach:
Nose: Rich maple honey, cocoa and baked forest fruit.
Palate: Maraschino cherry, baked orange and hazelnut, with a lingering sultana and spiced mocha finish.

One of my favourites

Nice smooth malt with a big sherry kick. Easy drinking whisky which sadly for me is also enjoyed by my wife. Must get another bottle.

Lovely nose, sweet sherry flavours and a lovely smooth finish. Very pleasant drink which has three cask flavours to enhance the complexity.
Also at a good price point.
