Tasting Note by Brugal:
Nose: Well rounded and smooth with body and character. Perceived sweetness of toffee and vanilla balanced with peach, cocoa and cloves.
Palate: The sophisticated sweetness of red and dried fruits, raisins and dates, complement a spicy woodiness, with hints of cinnamon.
Finish: Remarkably long-lasting and elegant, with a hint of honey.

I bought this as a gift, but I can report I have some good feedback as he said it was smooth, and new to him as not heard of the brand before. He said it went well by itself, but loves it with the bunderberg ginger beer.

Bought this for our son for Christmas so can’t really say how good it is.. I buy him a different rum every Christmas and did my research and decided to give Brugal 1888 Reserva a go.
