Since 2019, it has been further matured in ex-Milk Dragon's stout barrels, infusing it with the distinct flavors of a stout. The result is a whisky that combines the sweetness and maltiness of a stout with a woody bitterness, creating a flavor profile that is truly one-of-a-kind.
Tasting Note by Deanston:
Nose: Fresh-cut grass, floral, malty, and red apple flavours.
Palate: Quite sweet and spicy with white pepper and chilli.
Finish: Lemon, white pepper and sugary sweetness.
