Dewar's 21 Year Old Double Double

Dewar's is one of Scotland's most storied blending houses, with a heritage stretching back to 1846 in Perth. This small batch expression was developed by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, one of the most decorated figures in Scotch whisky, and introduces an innovative four-stage ageing process that takes the distillery's established double-ageing philosophy considerably further. The result has been recognised with a Platinum Medal and Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2025, as well as Gold for Best Scotch Blended at the World Whiskies Awards 2025.

The process begins with the single malt and grain whiskies aged separately for 21 years. Each is then blended within its own style and returned to cask for further maturation before the two are combined and rested once more to allow the flavours to fully harmonise. A final finishing period in Oloroso sherry casks provides the concluding layer of complexity. Non-chill filtration and a bottling strength of 46% ABV ensure the whisky reaches the glass with its full character intact. Presented in a 50cl format, this is an exceptional choice for the collector or as a gift of genuine distinction.

Nose: Sweet stone fruits, golden honey, creamy vanilla and subtle citrus zest.
Palate: Smooth white chocolate, delicate cinnamon spice and layered dried fruit with nutty undertones.
Finish: Long and silky, with a refined balance of fruit, oak sweetness and the gentle warmth of sherry.
