Tasting Note by GlenAllachie:
Nose: Butterscotch and honey playing the lead with raisins and mocha in the background.
Palate: Marzipan and orchard fruit tones, followed by warming mocha, butterscotch and grated nutmeg.

Superb whisky with very complex taste, dark and delightful

This whisky has some very complex notes of toffee, vanilla,dark plumbs and liquorice. It well deserves it world number one whisky award.

Lovely Dram

Aa lovely sherried malt. Very smooth with a long lasting taste in mouth. Aromas of figs and Christmas cake. A lovely dram on its own or with a cube of ice.

Discovered this dram only recently.
Wow, it's so good! I have tried the 15 year old, but it is too smooth for my liking.
I much prefer the 12 year old, it's my new go to whisky.

Best tasting 12 year old whiskey

We have been at GlenAllachie distillery tour and tasting experience. The 12 year and 13 year distillery exclusive are top class whiskeys, with tasting notes from the bourbon, sherry and red wine casks.

Lovely whisky. Dense and chocolaty, great tasting with lasting finish. Torn between this and the Glendronach 12. Fantastic and well worth the price.

Just what I expected from Jock land, mind you I did have the pleasure of a guided tour around the distillery, and it was the cleanest that I have ever seen.

Stunning sherry bomb! Natural colour, non chill filtered and 46% ABV as you'd want.

I bought this one for £41, I highly recommend it, this is my third bottle, I rarely buy third bottle, because there are so many good whiskies out there. VERY DELIGHTFUL ON THE NOSE, TASTE RICH FRUIT and very smooth indeed, when you finish your dram, in the empty glass, you can easily find very creamy and sweet on the nose. Hopefully 12 will keep this way, to me, this is worth more than £60, I will definitely buy again.
