This vintage single malt embodies the pinnacle of Sherry-matured elegance. Master Distiller Billy Walker meticulously chose three Pedro Ximénez and two Oloroso casks from an impressive collection of ultra-aged stocks. The combination of vintage Sherry puncheons and hogsheads has crafted a singularly magnificent single malt, rich with forest fruits, gooey chocolate fondant, and wild Scottish honey flavours. The GlenAllachie 30 Year Old (Batch 4) is presented with integrity; at its cask strength of 49.1%, without added colouring or chill filtration, allowing the exceptional spirit within to speak for itself.
Tasting Note by GlenAllachie:
Nose: Dark chocolate, honeycomb and raisin butter, with hints of muscovado sugar, plum syrup and glazed almonds.
Palate: Rich cocoa, heather honey and chocolate raisins, followed by baking spices and molasses, with notes of Black Forest gâteau, grape must and orchard fruits.
