Hailing from Portugal's esteemed and ancient Douro Valley wine region, these barriques introduce rich hues and flavors of dried stone fruits and subtle spices. This 48% malt, limited to 2,000 cases, is non-chill filtered and boasts natural colors, ensuring a pure and nuanced tasting experience.
Tasting Note by GlenAllachie:
Nose: Waves of plum jam, clementines and dried red berries, with notes of heather honey and vanilla spice.
Palate: Bursting with dried apricots, heather honey and crystalised fruits, followed by hints of ripe black fruits, butterscotch and cinnamon spice.
