Glendronach 15 Year Old Sherry Cask Matured

Established in 1826 in the sheltered Valley of Forgue in the Scottish Highlands, The GlenDronach Distillery has maintained an unwavering commitment to traditionally crafted, sherry-matured single malt for nearly two centuries. Founded by James Allardice, the distillery is one of Scotland's most respected producers of richly cask-influenced whisky, and its dunnage warehouses — cool, earthen-floored, and unhurried — provide ideal conditions for the long, patient maturation that defines its house style.

The 15 Year Old spends fifteen years maturing exclusively in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks sourced from the bodegas of Andalucía in southern Spain. The additional three years beyond the 12 Year Old expression allows the spirit to draw yet deeper colour and concentration from the wood, building layers of dried fruit and dark confectionery character that few distilleries can match. Beautifully presented and richly sherried, this is an expression well suited to gifting or adding genuine weight to a collection.
