Description

Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera is presented in a limited-edition pack for the 2026 festive season, bringing one of Glenfiddich's distinctive maturation methods into this year's “Home is a Feeling” collection.

The 2026 packaging uses a deep green palette with intricate gold illustrations inspired by Victorian wrapping paper. The illustrated world incorporates references to Glenfiddich's history, the landscape surrounding the distillery and festive traditions, reflecting the collection's broader theme of homecoming and sharing during the festive period.

At the centre is the established Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera. The whisky brings together spirit matured across different cask types, including sherry and bourbon casks and new oak, before marrying in Glenfiddich's Solera Vat. The Solera process is central to the identity of the 15 Year Old and provides continuity between successive batches.

For 2026, the whisky remains the established 15 Year Old Solera, while the presentation is transformed into a limited seasonal edition designed specifically for festive gifting.

Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:
Nose: An intriguingly complex aroma. Sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.
Palate: Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour.
Finish: Satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.

Solera Vatting System

There is nothing quite like whisky created via the Solera process. Each barrel contains a unique combination of flavours reserved from older expressions. This particular expression features sherried notes of dark fruits, marzipan, and spicy ginger.
