Glengoyne 15 Year Old

Produced at Glengoyne Distillery on the Highland-Lowland boundary since 1883, the 15 Year Old is built on the same foundations as the rest of the range: Scotland's slowest distillation process and the exclusive use of unpeated, air-dried barley. The result is a characteristically clean, fruit-forward spirit that allows fifteen years of careful cask influence to speak without interference from smoke or peat.

Matured in a combination of first-fill sherry, first-fill bourbon, and refill casks, the whisky achieves a considered balance between the vibrant fruit and spice of the active casks and the subtler depth contributed by refill wood. Bottled at 43% ABV without chill-filtration and at natural colour, with packaging that is fully recyclable, plastic-free and FSC-certified, this is a refined and conscientiously produced expression of Glengoyne's house style.

Tasting Note by Glengoyne:
Nose: Fresh Hay, Malt Flour, Rosehip, Citrus and dried fruit.
Palate: Clean with a gentle sweetness, a hint of tropical fruit, candied lemon, cinnamon, vanilla and apple pie.
Finish: Pleasant dry finish with gentle spice and lingering oak.
