Quinta Ruban takes whisky enthusiasts on an expedition into an uncharted wilderness—an enchanting forest where whispers of peppermint and unexpected swirls of dark chocolate abound.
This captivating journey commences within the tall stills of Glenmorangie, initially presenting soft and fruity notes that gradually deepen in complexity. Over the course of 14 years, it matures in a combination of bourbon casks and Portuguese port casks, absorbing a diverse array of flavors.
The end result is a dense thicket of luxurious flavor combinations, where the likes of walnut and black pepper dance alongside mandarin orange and melted marshmallow. The experience evokes images of dark chocolate bars complemented by hints of peppermint.
