It is then further matured for two additional years in a unique combination of sweet white wine casks, enhancing the whisky's richness and adding layers of complexity. Tasting Note by Glenmorangie:
Nose: Decadent with notes of baking brioche, baked apricot, vanilla pudding, toasted almond and hints of chocolate truffles.
Palate: Rich and sticky with swirls of honeycomb, orange syrup and brioche, balanced by a soft drumbeat of spice and lemon zestiness.
Finish: The finish is long and lingering, with some lemon rind, baking break and a touch of honeycomb.
