In crafting this exceptional whisky, the distillery begins by distilling a delicate and fruity spirit in their iconic giraffe-high stills. This spirit undergoes a unique maturation process, spending time in American oak bourbon casks and casks previously used to hold Sauternes sweet white wine.

Tasting Note by Glenmorangie:
Nose: Lemon tart emerges with vanilla, lime and orange zest. Sultanas and dates follow, laced with ginger and coconut.
Palate: Warming gingerbread gives way to nutmeg and toasted almonds, entwined with meringue and honeycomb.
Finish: Sweet and mellow, balancing lemon zest, vanilla cream and final traces of ginger and nutmeg.
