Description
The Glenrothes 18 Year Old, a distinguished member of the Soleo Collection, hails from the renowned Glenrothes distillery in Rothes, Speyside. It has spent its entire 18-year maturation period in sherry-seasoned oak casks, and no artificial coloring has been introduced. As a result, the striking amber hue of this whisky is entirely a product of its time spent in the casks. It's bottled at a satisfying 43% ABV.
Tasting Note by Glenrothes:
Nose: Orange oil, vanilla pods, pear and almonds.
Palate: Sweet, ginger, rose water, pears and vanilla.
Finish: Sweet, spicy and slightly peppery.
