Bottled directly from the cask without the addition of water to reduce its alcohol content, Highland Park's Cask Strength series is renowned for delivering exceptional depth, complexity, and a harmonious flavor balance. Release No. 3 continues this tradition of excellence.

For this third release, a meticulous blend of three cask types was expertly employed. It includes first-fill sherry seasoned American and European oak casks, complemented by a smaller quantity of refill casks. This combination ensures a whisky with both depth and balance, showcasing the signature qualities of Highland Park's Cask Strength series.

Tasting Note by Highland Park:
Palate: Lightly charred oak, honey-glazed lemons, crushed aniseed, ripe mango, cloudy heather honey, whipped vanilla cream, aromatic violet, pink grapefruit zest, rich sponge cake, smouldering peat smoke.

Stupendous!!

Another two bottles of nectar! This is one of my favorites. The other is Abunadh. Don’t laugh but I mix them50/50 and the result is wonderful. At 93 I’m still going strong all due to this wonderful medicine

At £45 per bottle I'm all over it, just a wee drop of water opens it up fully, sitting at just over 64% it definitely ticks all the boxes,

The whisky is great, its high avc so definitely be generous adding water, but you'll be rewarded with lovely honey, caramel, orange, Heather, smoke/peat, Oakey nutmeg flavours. Smoke and peat are quite high for highland park as well, definitely up from the standard 12

What a surprise, how smooth, expected being cask strength it may have been a little harsher, but really really smooth. I really enjoyed it looking forward to opening the full bottle, as I've only had the miniature I got with my previous order. BRILLIANT!!!
