This award highlights the excellence of this peated Indian single malt, distilled from six-row barley using traditional copper pot stills and matured in PX Sherry Casks. Matured in North India's sub-tropical climate, this whisky presents a smoky aroma with complex flavours of candied dried fruits, toasted nuts, subtle spices, oak, and bittersweet chocolate. This accolade positions Indri among the top whiskies worldwide, underscoring its quality and the rising appeal of Indian single malts.

    Tasting Note by Indri:
    Nose: Delightful peat smoke intertwines with slightly sweet barley aromas, accompanied by earthy notes and savory hints. A subtle touch of nuttiness, along with raisins, dates, and oaky elements, complemented by orange zest, creates a balanced and pleasing nose, where the smoky hints complement the sweetness of the sherry.
    Palate: The palate presents a fruity sweetness and floral tones, with a luxurious viscosity and underlying earthy hints. A sweet velvety note is also present, which dissipates gently, leaving behind a moderate trail of aromatic smoke that envelops the palate, elevating the drinking experience further.
    Finish: Continuing its rich development on the palate, the finish features fruity sweetness, floral tones and the presence of smoky elements that contribute to a sweet and lingering taste.
