Nose: Sweet dark fruits with damson and hints of orange with a soft chewy caramel toffee. Chocolate fudge and sweet red berries.
Palate: More of the nose on the palate of this rich smooth elegant dram, the rich fruity Christmas cake notes are superb, soft milky chocolate, maraschino cherries and a final hit of red currant. A subtle spice makes the finish so enjoyable.
Bought it for my son in law. According to him it's the best whisky he's ever, he's thrilled by it. As for me, I'm pleased that my hours of research payed off!!
