Description
Jura Origin is a unique whisky that reflects the character of its island home. It is crafted using tall stills and matured for a decade in Az barrels. The final touch is the finishing period in Oloroso Sherry casks from Jerez, Spain. This results in a sweet and smooth whisky with prominent flavors of rich dark chocolate and creamy vanilla throughout.
Tasting Note by Jura:
Nose: Vanilla, orange, cracked black pepper, dark chocolate.
Palate: Nectarines, ginger, coffee, toasted almonds.
Finish: Matured in American White ex bourbon barrels for 10 years and finished in Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Spain.
