Loch Lomond Peated Single Grain Scotch Whisky is produced by utilizing malted barley that has undergone a significant peating process at the Loch Lomond Distillery. The whisky is then aged in a combination of first-fill and refill bourbon casks, resulting in a delightful combination of soft fruity flavors, creamy vanilla undertones, and subtle wisps of smoke.
Tasting Note by Loch Lomond:
Nose: Clove, vanilla and blackcurrant.
Palate: Sweet tangy peat, green apple, lime citrus and aniseed.
Finish: Crispy dry finish with distant peat smoke.
