Created in 1968 by Mr. George Urquhart, the Connoisseurs Choice range features rare whiskies from nearly 100 Scottish distilleries. Non-chill-filtered and crafted by Gordon & MacPhail, the Refill Sherry Butt release was distilled on 28 April 2005 and bottled on 21 March 2024, bearing a total of 341 bottles.
Tasting Note by Gordon & MacPhail:
Nose: Dark chocolate aromas with clementine and fragrant cinnamon.
Palate: Fruit cake with toffee.
Finish: Mature oak, ginger, and dried banana on the finish.
