This annual release, titled "A Night on Earth - The Journey," represents a distinctive and exclusive expression crafted through the harmonious blend of exceptional first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels and European and American sherry-seasoned oak casks.
This collaborative project has been brought to life in partnership with the renowned Chinese artist, Nini Sum, and showcases an innovative and multi-layered packaging design, promising an extraordinary unboxing experience for consumers.
Tasting Note by Macallan:
Nose: Toasted oak, a creamy steamed rice and coconut milk pudding, citrus fruits, vanilla and oat biscuits.
Palate: A burst of effervescent citrus fruits - lemon and lime with sweet creamy vanilla sponge and toasted coconut.
Finish: Medium with sweet, toasted oak and vanilla.
