The exceptional smoothness of Pig’s Nose whisky is attributed to its careful selection of the finest Malt and Grain whiskies sourced from the Lowland, Speyside, and Highland regions of Scotland. These whiskies are predominantly matured in high-quality ex-bourbon oak casks, with a significant portion being first-fill casks. This meticulous aging process results in a whisky that is as soft and smooth as the nose of a pig.

Nose: Golden sandy highlights. Clear and bright.
Palate: Firm and rich with orange peel, toffee and luscious, creamy round tones.

I'd never given a pig's nose much thought before

I'd never given a pig's nose much thought before, but if it's anything like the whisky I shall give one a stroke (if I can do so safely!). The whisky is as it claims soft and smooth: drinkable, enjoyable. it is not a peaty sort-the-men-from-the-boys sort of hardcore tipple, and for my tastes all the better for it. I will definitely be buying another bottle or two.
