Champagne Pol Roger designed their Prestige Cuvée to honor Sir Winston Churchill, bearing in mind the attributes he valued in his champagne: sturdiness, a rich profile, and a measure of maturity. The blend is dominated by Pinot Noir, which delivers structure, depth, and strength, while Chardonnay infuses it with grace, refinement, and a touch of delicacy. The grapes are solely obtained from Grands Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards that existed during Churchill's time. The Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is crafted only during exceptional vintages and is consistently launched after the other vintage-specific Champagnes from Pol Roger, reflecting Churchill's preference for aged wines.

Tasting Note by Pol Roger:
With its splendid golden hue and coppery bright tints, this Champagne is captivating to the eye. The first nose opens with a subtle scent of dried rose petals before developing into well-rounded vanilla and candied fruit. On the palate, the wine is balanced and underpinned with a hint of citrus fruit and delightful freshness. Enchanting and luscious, as it opens up it reveals notes of patisserie, quince and green tea, magnified by deliciously delicate bubbles, characteristic of this wine of power and character. The high proportion of Pinot Noir in the blend lends the wine structure and length as well as a perfect balance of generosity and elegance: a veritable symphony of sensations.
