Stauning El Clásico is a Nordic whisky that boasts an Iberian essence. This matured rye whisky has been enhanced with additional aging in vermouth casks, drawing inspiration from the classic Manhattan cocktail where rye whisky and sweet vermouth combine seamlessly. With the aim of encapsulating this cocktail's allure within the whisky itself, the matured spirit was given a vermouth cask finish. This experiment proved to be a triumph, yielding a whisky that radiates a rich, amber hue and offers a palate of sweet nuances tempered by bitter botanicals. Whether savored in a sophisticated cocktail or relished neat, its flavor profile is characterized by the warmth and robustness of freshly harvested grains, rounded off with a spicy and bittersweet finale.

Nose: The nose is filled with the scent of apples, oranges, ripe plum, warm spices, cinnamon and roasted caramel.
Palate: The lips are meet with a sweet and piercing kiss of dried fruits, citrus and crushed pepper.
Finish: The warm aftertaste has bittersweet notes of vermouth that stays inside the body for a long time.
