This new limited edition release, known as Quercus Alba Distinction, celebrates the distinctive qualities of first-fill American oak sherry cask maturation. The journey begins in the oak forests of North America, with the casks later crafted in Spain's 'sherry triangle' over six years. The staves undergo air drying in the Mediterranean sun, assembly, toasting by experienced coopers, and Oloroso sherry seasoning before arriving at Tamdhu. Then, the vibrant new-make spirit harmoniously combines with the American Oak sherry cask, resulting in rich fruity flavors and a natural amber hue. Tasting Note by Tamdhu:
Nose: Warming cinnamon and vanilla, with sharp citrus and cherry flavours.
Palate: A rich and luscious palate brings plum, dates, chocolate, and subtle oak notes.
