This 21-year-old edition is distilled and initially aged in whisky refill casks on December 16, 1999, after which it was carefully transferred into Oloroso sherry casks on February 26, 2015. The outcome is a delightfully sweet and lively dram. Staying true to Tobermory's commitment to quality, like all their whiskies, this one is non-chill filtered and boasts its natural colour, maintaining an ABV of 46.3%.
Tasting Note by Tobermory:
Nose: Marzipan, hazelnuts, toffee and treacle. Furniture wax.
Palate: Cherry wood, brown sugar, caramelised pineapples and sticky toffee.
Finish: Fresh, light and sweet.
