Aged in a combination of ex-Bourbon and ex-Oloroso Sherry casks, it boasts a flavor profile that is nothing short of extraordinary.
Tasting Note by Tomatin:
The 36 year old edition is vibrant, fruity and floral on the nose, with aromas of tropical fruits layered with winter spices from the Oloroso Sherry butts. Rich yet sweet on the palate, the fruity tones develop into oaky flavours of raw heather honey and roasted chestnuts. The depth of this whisky is reflected in its remarkably long finish with waves of fruit fading to an enticing winter spice finish. A very special dram indeed.
