Intended for savouring, this extra-aged tequila is rich, warm, and silky, boasting intense flavours and sweetness from its maturation in American oak barrels.
The X.A bottle's striking design pays homage to the Tequila volcano, which erupted over 200,000 years ago in Mexico's Jalisco region, creating optimal conditions for blue agave growth.
Tasting Note by Tomas Perez (Master Tequilier):
Nose: Hints of spice, cooked agave and sweet notes of vanilla, honey and dried fruits combine on the nose
Palate: Ultra smooth with a long finish – a reposado (aged) base brings the right level of sweetness and smoothness, while añejo (extra-aged) and extra-añejo (ultra-aged) tequilas add aromatic balance and complexity.
