To commemorate 15 years of Big Peat, Douglas Laing has released a special Limited Edition, celebrating the iconic Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky. This anniversary expression features whisky predominantly matured in hand-selected red wine casks, giving it a unique twist. Bottled at a robust 50% ABV, it boasts aromas of earthy smoke, black forest fruits, and butterscotch, leading to a palate rich with toffee, dark chocolate, and a subtle nuttiness. The finish is long, with lingering dry peat smoke and home-baking spices. This exclusive release, with a global allocation of just 2,200 cases, is beautifully packaged in a bespoke 15th-anniversary-themed carton.
