Tasting Note by Torabhaig:
Nose: Woody tobacco and crumbly vanilla shortbread are detected in the nose. A salty maritime note of smoked seafood is combined with earthy peat smoke and a zing of lemon zest.
Palate: This has bolder peat, oily coastal tar, toasted, salted nuts, and a light fruit salad. Heather, fennel, and floral aromas with a hint of pepper spice with a metallic undertone.
Finish: Continued sea breeze and saline harbourside character, sweeter fruit notes with apples and kiwis, vanilla oak, and strong peat smoke aromas.
