The Glengoyne White Oak is a distinctive NAS whisky, matured exclusively in virgin and first fill bourbon American oak casks. At 48% ABV, it stands out in the lineup, offering a richer, sweeter flavour profile with a lighter, natural color. This edition showcases a move towards American oak maturation, broadening Glengoyne’s taste profile while maintaining its traditional slow distillation character.

Originally set aside to become a 12 year old single barrel, this whisky was found to have developed a subtle smoky flavour upon tasting, due to being distilled immediately after peat week, even though the barley used was unpeated. It matured for 14 years in some of Balvenie's finest bourbon casks.
