A rare small-batch release, this Glenmorangie single malt is the first from the distillery to be finished in Palo Cortado sherry casks. Aged for 12 years, it spent its first eight maturing in American white oak bourbon casks, giving it a smooth, mellow character. Inspired by the rare sweet and nutty notes of Palo Cortado, Dr Bill selected these scarce casks to add a new complexity to Glenmorangie’s refined style. The result is a whisky of unique depth, with layers of dark plum, milk chocolate, Brazil nuts, and sweet spice.
Glencadam Reserva de Jerez is a beautifully crafted single malt, distilled in 2007 and matured in ex-bourbon American oak casks from the distillery’s historic dunnage warehouses. After careful selection, the whisky is expertly finished in Oloroso Sherry butts sourced from Jerez, Spain.
