The whisky was crafted by Whisky Maker Russell Greig, an avid Bond devotee who has translated the film's narrative arc directly into the cask selection, drawing on the film's locations, characters and pivotal scenes as the creative framework for this limited edition release.
The cask composition reflects the film's storyline with deliberate precision. Craigellachie 17 Year Old begins its life in a blend of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. After the initial maturation period, the whisky divides — half moving into first-fill Sherry casks, the other half into first-fill Bourbon casks.
