Laphroaig 30 Year Old (2024 Release) is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky that demonstrates the influence of three decades of oak maturation on the distillery's distinctive peated spirit. First introduced in 2024, this expression combines Laphroaig's characteristic smoky profile with the fruit and oak complexity developed through extended ageing. The whisky has been matured for 30 years in a combination of American oak barrels and European oak ex-sherry hogsheads and butts. The American oak contributes sweetness and vanilla characteristics, while the European oak sherry casks provide additional depth and complexity. Over three decades, these cask influences develop alongside the distillery's traditional peat smoke, creating a balance between mature fruit, oak and maritime character. The extended maturation introduces floral and tropical fruit influences that complement Laphroaig's signature smoky character. Bottled at a fixed strength of 45.8% ABV, the 2024 release reflects the distillery's established production methods while exploring the effects of prolonged cask ageing.Tasting Note by Laphroaig:Nose: Fruity and sweet initially with very distinctive top notes of zesty orange and lemon peel, vanilla custard and treacle toffee.Palate: More delicate background notes are revealed such as bergamot, sweet pastries and fresh thyme along with white pepper on the palette. .Finish: This is finally followed by a smouldering peat smoke and sooty campfire notes.
Hibiki 21 has been named World’s Best Blended Whisky five times at the World Whiskies Awards, and once you taste it, it’s easy to see why.
Suntory brings together malt and grain whiskies from its Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distilleries, every one aged over 21 years. Yamazaki sherry-cask malt sits at the heart of the blend, with a thread of rare Japanese Mizunara oak adding sandalwood and a gentle incense note. The result isn’t about power or peat. It’s about balance: layer after layer of dark fruit, honey and spice, folded into one polished whole.
It’s presented in Hibiki’s signature 24-faceted bottle, one facet for each season of the old Japanese calendar, making it as striking on the shelf as it is in the glass. For the collector building a world-class shelf, or for a gift that needs no explanation, Hibiki 21 is Japanese whisky at its most refined.
Tasting Note by Suntory:Nose: Cooked fruit, blackberry, ripe banana, caramel.Palate: Sandalwood, honeycomb, dried apricot and Mizunara (Japanese oak).Finish: Long, rich with incense aroma.
Bunnahabhain distilled this whisky in 1999. Ten years later, it was moved into an Amontillado sherry cask, then Oloroso, then Manzanilla — three casks applied in sequence rather than simultaneously, each one following the last. Seven years of sequential finishing followed the initial ten years of maturation, for twenty-three years total.
Bunnahabhain is one of the few distilleries on Islay producing unpeated whisky. This bottle carries no peat. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.3%, non-chill filtered, with no added colour.
This release is one of 4,002 individually numbered bottles from the Feis Île 2024 release, Bunnahabhain's annual festival bottling. It is not part of the distillery's standard core range.
Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:Nose: Freshly baked almond pastries are met with sweet berries, creamy fudge, rose petals and a hint of desiccated coconut.Palate: Fresh vanilla pods, butterscotch and creamy strawberries are balanced with honeyed cashews, wood spice and a gentle hint of tobacco.Finish: Dry finish with pine needles and blackcurrants
Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich has always been defined by a willingness to innovate within a tradition of uncompromising quality. The distillery remains family-owned across five generations, and it is that independence of spirit that has allowed it to pursue techniques rarely seen elsewhere in Scotch whisky production. The Solera Fifteen is perhaps the most distinctive expression of that curiosity, built around a process more commonly associated with the production of fine Sherry and Madeira than with single malt whisky.
At the heart of the 15 Year Old is a Solera Vat that has never been fully emptied since it was first filled in 1998. Kept perpetually at least half full, the vat brings together whiskies matured in three distinct cask types including new oak, American oak and Sherry oak, which marry continuously over time to create a whisky of layered complexity and remarkable consistency. As each portion is drawn off for bottling, it carries with it the accumulated character of every whisky that has rested in the vat before it, producing a depth of flavour that belies the 15 Year Old age statement. A genuinely distinctive bottle for a collection and an assured gift for anyone with an appreciation for craft and curiosity in equal measure.
Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: An intriguingly complex aroma. Sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.Palate: Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour.Finish: Satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.
This is a meticulously crafted blended malt, made using Dewar’s unique four-stage ageing process. Developed by Master Blender Stephanie MacLeod, the method involves ageing individual malts separately, then marrying Speyside malts together, and Highland and Islay malts together, before blending all the components and finishing the whisky in Madeira casks. The result is a layered and refined expression of Scottish malt whisky. It’s presented in a striking black glass bottle with a four-point design that reflects the precision and structure of the ageing process.
Aberfeldy Distillery sits in the foothills of the Central Highlands, on the banks of the River Tay, and has been producing single malt since 1898. This 25 Year Old is a limited release bottled to mark the distillery's 125th anniversary, representing Aberfeldy's house style at its most refined, spending over two decades in refill hogsheads and refill butts before being finished for more than a year in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, a final stage that adds depth, richness and warming spice to the distillery's characteristically honeyed and fruit-driven spirit.

Tobermory 27 Year Old is the fifth and final expression in the distillery’s Hebridean Series, bringing the collection to a close with its oldest and most powerful release.
Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky spent a further 12 years in González Byass Oloroso sherry casks, developing a rich and concentrated character while retaining Tobermory’s distinctive fruit-led style. Bottled at 53.1% ABV, it is also the highest-strength expression of the later Hebridean releases.
The extended Oloroso maturation brings layers of dark fruit, warming spice and mature oak, complemented by brighter notes of apricot, orange and pineapple. At 27 years old, it represents the culmination of the series’ progression through increasingly long periods of sherry maturation.
