The sweetness on the nose is sill there, but more butterscotch and malted biscuit. Vanilla tablet notes and there is also now a minerality to it. Finish: Medium-Long and very full. Nice warming peat that lingers but a bit more of that medicinal note is prominent.

The Campbeltown Loch Blended Malt is a unique blend that combines all five malts from the three distilleries in the Campbeltown region. It has undergone maturation in a mix of Ex-Bourbon and Ex-Sherry casks and was expertly vatted and bottled at the Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown.
Tasting Note by Springbank:Nose: Delicate aromas of gentle peach, apricot, and floral honey are accompanied by lively notes of lemon meringue and a subtle hint of salty ash.Palate: The palate is smooth and slightly oily, revealing herbal undertones that intermingle with sweet vanilla caramel and luscious baked fruit. The coastal salinity of seaweed and the pleasant presence of sweet baking spices provide a harmonious balance, with hints of peat making occasional appearances.Finish: The finish showcases fleeting touches of ginger and nutmeg, accompanied by sweet tea, oatcakes, and a subtle smokiness derived from oak.
The Ben Nevis Peated 7-Year-Old 2015, specially selected by Milroy's, is a peated single malt whisky that has spent its maturation period in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead. Distilled in the year 2015 and bottled in 2023, this limited edition release consists of 353 bottles, highlighting its exclusivity.

The 12 Year Old is gently matured in carefully hand-selected Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks. Resolving with an Oloroso sherry cask finish creates extraordinary layers of rich sensory discovery. Its gentle maturation in meticulously chosen Oloroso sherry and ex-bourbon casks gives it an intriguing yet inviting complexity.

This whisky, bottled at 46% ABV with a peat level of 20ppm, retains the signature fresh character of Arran 10 Year Old while introducing a subtle twist of peat smoke on the finish. Aged for a full decade in first-fill bourbon casks, it remains non-chill filtered and free from added colouring. The result is a warm and inviting dram, where underlying sweetness balances the spice, complemented by a delicate layer of sweet smoke for added depth and intensity.

Kilkerran Heavily Peated is a bold single malt crafted in small batches, released twice yearly at cask strength with around 45PPM of peat. Primarily matured in Bourbon casks, it offers a smoky profile of campfire embers and peat, balanced by notes of custard, key lime pie, rye bread, and a touch of minerality on the finish.
Tasting Note by Kilkerran:Nose: In typical Kilkerran style, there is a citrus element on the nose with notes of lemon and key lime pie, along with touches of toasted rye bread and peat smoke.Palate: There are notes of toasted marshmallows and campfire embers immediately on the palate, with hints of vanilla and custard.Finish: The smokiness carries through to the finish, along with a mineral note to round off this dram.
