PMC:01 is a masterful blend of terroirs, initially matured in first-fill Bourbon barrels in 2013 for four years, then artfully transferred in 2017 to Pomerol casks for an additional five years of aging. This pioneering release from Port Charlotte, aged in the esteemed Bordeaux wine barrels, marries the lush, fruit-rich character of Pomerol oak with the unmistakable maritime essence of Islay.
Tasting Note by Bruichladdich:Nose: Warm peat smoke and red fruits open on the nose, moving to stewed pears, melon and a subtle marine note. Delicate floral notes of rose and geranium follow, with hints of vanilla, honey, leather and toasted oak coming from the wood. As the spirit opens further, a subtle spice mix of clove and ginger comes to the fore, with a touch of marzipan.Palate: Malt sugar and peat smoke complement the tremendous viscosity of the liquid which coats the palate. The influence of the cask continues and showcases the harmonious balance of oak and fruit, with succulent blackberries, plum and aged leather.Finish: Mellow marine tones, crushed seashells and a hint of citrus lemon rind nod to the single malt’s all-Islay maturation while Port Charlotte’s signature peat smoke lingers.
This limited edition Aberfeldy 21 Year Old, distilled on November 14, 2001, spent over 20 years maturing in re-fill barrels and hogsheads. The whisky was then finished for approximately eight months in French Oak casks from Finca Ambrosía, a single estate winery in Argentina. This finishing process adds a layer of Malbec influence, with flavours of blackberry, plum, and black cherry complementing Aberfeldy’s characteristic notes.
This limited release is accompanied by a bottle of Finca Ambrosía Viña Unica Malbec 2022, providing an opportunity to explore the connection between the whisky and the wine that inspired its final aging.

The Aberfeldy 25 Year Old Sherry Cask whisky has been meticulously aged for over two decades in a blend of re-fill hogsheads and refill butts. The casks were expertly aged in premium Pedro Ximénez & Oloroso Sherry puncheons, which added rich, fruity undertones that blend seamlessly with comforting peat smoke using mainland materials.The sweet phenolic concentration of the whisky is 35 PPM and comes from St. Fergus peat a prolonged. A 160-hour fermentation process yields a fruit-forward spirit that is ideal for maturing in highest quality Sherry oak.
