The Brut Vintage 2015 from Champagne Pol Roger is crafted using the house's classic vintage blend, consisting of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay. These grapes come from 20 Grands and Premiers crus vineyards located in the Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs. Only available in restricted quantities, the Brut Vintage 2015 was stored in their deep cellars for aging before being disgorged and introduced to the market.
Tasting Note by Pol Roger:The Brut Vintage 2015 displays a lovely golden hue with silver highlights. The subtle first nose opens with notes of fleshy ethereal hints of rose petals. Expressive and full of freshness, the bouquet is reminiscent of patisserie, pastries and dried nuts. It then evolves to reveal aromas of honey and apple jelly. The palate is round and elegant. A slight zesty quality sets off the notes of brioche, patisserie and toast, combined with liquorice and dried nuts. The silky texture is accompanied by a lovely lingering acidity right through to the finish. The 2015 vintage brings us a warm and very fine champagne.

John had a hunch that he had stumbled upon something truly exceptional when he introduced David to samples of Caroni Rum.
David and his team recognized the potential, driven by their creativity and wealth of experience. In 2014, they made the audacious decision to transfer some 20-year-old Balvenie whisky from its customary American oak Hogshead casks into Caroni Rum casks sourced by John. The result was a rum finish unlike any other, and the additional 7 years spent maturing in these ex-Caroni rum casks transformed and elevated the whisky's flavor profile into something truly extraordinary—a Rare Discovery from Distant Shores.
