Part of the acclaimed Exceptional Cask Series, this Craigellachie 29 Year Old is a remarkable single malt that showcases the bold character and uncompromising traditions of the distillery. Originally filled on 24th August 1994, it spent its early years maturing in a refill cask before being transferred to a first-fill ex-Bourbon cask in August 2007, where it developed further for an additional 16 years and 3 months.
Selected by Malt Master Stephanie Macleod for its exceptional character, this whisky was bottled at a natural 52.5% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour—presented exactly as nature intended.
A total of only 186 bottles were drawn from this cask, all of which are exclusively available through JPHA. This is a rare opportunity to experience a singular expression of Craigellachie—unrepeatable, distinctive, and uncompromising.
