  • Sale -21%Best Seller Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera

    Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera

Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich has always been defined by a willingness to innovate within a tradition of uncompromising quality. The distillery remains family-owned across five generations, and it is that independence of spirit that has allowed it to pursue techniques rarely seen elsewhere in Scotch whisky production. The Solera Fifteen is perhaps the most distinctive expression of that curiosity, built around a process more commonly associated with the production of fine Sherry and Madeira than with single malt whisky. At the heart of the 15 Year Old is a Solera Vat that has never been fully emptied since it was first filled in 1998. Kept perpetually at least half full, the vat brings together whiskies matured in three distinct cask types including new oak, American oak and Sherry oak, which marry continuously over time to create a whisky of layered complexity and remarkable consistency. As each portion is drawn off for bottling, it carries with it the accumulated character of every whisky that has rested in the vat before it, producing a depth of flavour that belies the 15 Year Old age statement. A genuinely distinctive bottle for a collection and an assured gift for anyone with an appreciation for craft and curiosity in equal measure. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: An intriguingly complex aroma. Sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.Palate: Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour.Finish: Satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.

Glencadam Pedro Ximenez Sherry Cask Finish

The Reserva PX represents one of the most intensely flavoured expressions in the Glencadam range, shaped decisively by the Pedro Ximénez Sherry butts sourced from Andalucía, Spain, in which it receives its final maturation. Produced at Glencadam's historic distillery in Brechin, Angus — in operation since 1825 — this small-batch release draws on single malt selected by the Master Distiller from the distillery's dunnage warehouses, where years of ex-bourbon maturation have laid a rich and fruited foundation for the PX cask to work upon. Pedro Ximénez is among the most intensely sweet and concentrated of all sherry styles, and its influence here is profound — drawing out dark fruit, baking spice and confected richness that places this expression firmly at the indulgent end of the Glencadam spectrum. The result is a whisky of considerable depth and complexity, bottled unchillfiltered at natural colour. A collection-worthy release and a compelling gift for those who favour richness and character in their single malt. Glencadam Reserva PX Cask Finish was awarded the Best Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (2024)!The Judging Panel described the whisky as showing; ‘Perfumed aroma with raspberry and blackcurrant jams and nutmeg. The complex palate features toffee, caramel, stewed apples, dates, nutmeg, and cinnamon.’ Tasting Note by Glencadam:Nose: Tangy and fresh with aromas of tropical fruits and citrus bound by a soft vanilla sweetness and baking spices.Palate: Bright and grassy with layers of pineapple, lemon curd and brioche with citrus zest highlights.Finish: Clean and crisp with notes of yellow fruits, vanilla pod and nutmeg spices.

Glenfiddich 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve

Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich remains family-owned across five generations and has long paired its tradition of independent craft with a genuine spirit of experimentation. The distillery's Malt Master Brian Kinsman has overseen the development of expressions that push the boundaries of what Speyside single malt can offer, and the 14 Year Old Bourbon Barrel Reserve is one of the clearest demonstrations of his approach to cask management and finishing. After fourteen years of maturation in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, which draw out the distillery's characteristic fresh fruit character alongside developing layers of vanilla and caramel sweetness, Kinsman transfers selected parcels to charred new American oak barrels for a final finishing period. The use of new wood at this stage, still unusual in Scotch whisky production, adds a deeper layer of toasted oak richness and spice that elevates the expression beyond a conventional Speyside profile. The result is a whisky with the freshness and fruit-forward quality Glenfiddich is known for, given additional weight and complexity by two distinct encounters with American oak. A distinctive Flagship Collection bottling and a well-considered gift for the whisky drinker who enjoys something a little off the beaten track. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: Deep vibrant vanilla notes with hints of citrus, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon. Glenfiddich 12 Year Old

Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich remains family-owned across five generations and is widely credited with pioneering the single malt category as the world came to know it. The distillery draws its water from the Robbie Dhu spring in the Conval Hills, a source William Grant identified and insisted upon from the very beginning, and that same Highland spring water continues to define the character of every expression produced here today. The high cut point Grant established for the distillation process, which captures only the lightest and most delicate part of the spirit, is the foundation of Glenfiddich's distinctively fresh and fruity house style. The 12 Year Old is the entry point into the Flagship Collection and one of the most recognised single malts in the world, yet its reputation rests on genuine quality rather than familiarity alone. Twelve years of maturation in a combination of American and European oak casks allows the fresh, fruit-forward character of the new make spirit to develop into something balanced and approachable, with the subtle influence of oak adding depth without ever overwhelming the distillery's signature lightness. An ideal introduction to Speyside single malt and a consistently reliable gift for those new to whisky or returning to a trusted favourite. • New Arrival Valdespino Vermouth Origen Valdespino Vermouth Origen

    Valdespino Vermouth Origen

Valdespino Vermouth Origen is a Jerez vermouth built around the longstanding connection between Valdespino’s sherry wines and The Macallan’s oak cask programme. Its base uses sherry wines specifically selected for seasoning virgin oak casks destined to mature The Macallan Single Malt, meaning the vermouth represents the first liquid to interact with these casks before their journey to Scotland. Inspired by a Valdespino recipe dating to the 1920s, Origen combines the character of Oloroso sherry with Moscatel and a selection of botanicals and spices. The result brings together citrus and spice with the oxidative richness of sherry, balanced by a measured bitterness and gentle sweetness. The maturation provides an unusual link between Jerez and Scotch whisky production. Rather than simply using an ex-whisky cask, Origen is connected to the beginning of The Macallan's cask journey, through the sherry seasoning process that prepares oak casks before they are subsequently used for whisky maturation. Tasting Note by Valdespino:Nose: Rich and intense spices intertwine with notes of caramelised citrus fruits, layered over a delicate backdrop of sherry aged in oak casks.Palate: Well-balanced and harmonious, full-bodied, with fresh citrus notes woven together with gentle spices and a refined bitterness — a subtle legacy of the oak casks of The Macallan. Deliciously rich, it reveals a long, smooth finish.
