The Small Batch Bourbon is a tribute to Thompson Willet, the visionary founder of Willet Distillery in Bardstown. It is presented in a distinctive pot still-shaped bottle, a nod to the iconic pot still at the Willet Distillery, capturing the essence and heritage of this fine bourbon.
Tasting Note by Willett Distillery:Nose is "vanilla lemon cake." The palate is a balance of caramel, vanilla, spices and citrus. I'm not sure if they made the opulent bottle to match the Whiskey or vice versa.

It tastes like a Portuguese breakfast, complete with custard tarts and a tinge of espresso.Palate: Extremely smooth and creamy, with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, salted caramel, and fresh peach and pears, similar to a supercharged 10 Year Old. Tasting Note by Ardbeg:Nose: Heady, intense and powerful. Swirl the glass and dip your nose into the torrents of tarry ropes, creosote and linseed oil rising from deep within the vortex. A collision of waxy dark chocolate, warm blackcurrants and muscovado sugar pulls you under its spell with a burst of plump cherries and earthy pine needles leaping from its depths. From salty seasoning comes a briny character with tangy crisp seaweed and smoky bacon swirling on the surface with hints of sweet vanilla, spicy cloves and blueberries. Surrender to its dangerous depths with the heady force of menthol, treacle and chilli sauce.Palate: Plunge into the whirlpool and torrents of taste well up on the palate; deep, peppery and chewy, bombarding the tongue. The first plunge brings forth chewy peppered steak soaked in pepper sauce with the tang of crispy seaweed. As you descend deeper, encounter a mouthful of black tarry espresso coffee that coats the palate with rich melted dark fruits (blackcurrants, blueberries and cherries) and bitter almonds. Inspired by icons from the cross, Glen Scotia's new series reflects a unique influence from its coastal climate and frequent mermaid sightings, particularly in the 1800s. Introducing the second edition in Arran's Signature Series, this 11 Year Old Single Malt has been matured to perfection. The spirit, with a peat level of 42ppm, was initially aged in ex-Bourbon barrels for five and a half years, before undergoing a further maturation of five and a half years in 115-litre Quarter Casks. This exceptional whisky has been specially selected by Stewart Bowman and carries his personal seal of approval. It was distilled and matured at the Lochranza Distillery. Globally, only 14,822 bottles have been released. Each bottle is accompanied by a recyclable cotton gift bag.

Inspired by the rugged beauty of Traigh Bhan, the sixth batch captures the essence of the island's mysterious shores. The finish lingers with rich notes of coffee and liquorice.
Tasting Note by Ardbeg:Nose: A very curious hint of olive oil greets you, along with touches of tar, soot, chocolate ginger and even some freshly mown grass. Water opens the bouquet up to revel some more classic Ardbeg notes, with fennel, peppermint, eucalyptus, and tarry rope to the fore.Palate: The mouthfeel is slightly oily, and is followed by an intense, minty sweetness, along with some toasting bread, creosote, coal tar soap and even a whiff of smoked pineapple. The deep, rich, flavours continue, with dark chocolate, peppermint creams, bonfire embers and camphor.Finish: The finish is reminiscent of coffee grounds and liquorice.
Clynelish 12 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Old Particular range is a limited edition, distilled in January 2011 and bottled in August 2023. Uncoloured and non-chill filtered, it comes from a refill hogshead (Ref: DL18173) with an alcohol strength of 48.4%. Only 381 bottles were produced.
