These casks were part of David Stewart's initial experiment to finish The Balvenie in French Pineau casks. After a few years, the results were not as expected, so he explored using a different source of Pineau, resulting in the creation of French Oak 16. However, this batch continued to age in the original casks and was discovered by Kelsey after 8 years in Pineau. She found they had developed into something remarkable.

The Tomintoul 14 Years Old Cognac Cask Finish, distilled in 2009, began its maturation journey in ex-bourbon American oak casks before receiving a special finish in carefully selected Cognac casks personally sourced by Master Distiller Robert Fleming from France. These Cognac casks have seamlessly enhanced the Tomintoul Single Malt with rich fruit flavours, elevating the whisky's character and complexity. Bottled at a robust 46% abv, it retains its natural colour and avoids chill filtration. This release is limited, with only 8,082 bottles, each uniquely numbered.

Carefully selecting single malt from 2008, initially matured in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks stored in Glencadam's historic dunnage warehouses, this unique expression was created. Distilled in 2013, this single vintage expression has undergone a decade of maturation. The ageing process involves a carefully chosen combination of casks: 80% of the whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, while the remaining 20% ages in second-fill Pauillac wine casks. The Port Charlotte Islay Barley 2014 is a sophisticated single malt whisky, known for its subtle yet intricate blend of fruit and smoke. It's made from 100% Islay Concerto and Propino barley, heavily peated and distilled in 2014 from the 2013 harvest.
