According to their legend, a brilliant burst of light appeared in the dark sky above Oban, driven by a celestial entity. Oban, one of the oldest and smallest distilleries in Scotland, emerged in 1794, infusing a lively energy into its tranquil surroundings. Despite its diminutive size, its legendary essence has been foretold in the heavens for ages. The whisky undergoes maturation in refill and new American Oak barrels, followed by a double maturation process in casks previously seasoned with Sherry and Amontillado, resulting in a subtle aroma characterized by hints of maritime salt and sea breeze.
