Château Minuty 281 is the estate’s haute-couture cuvée, first released in 2015. Its name refers to Pantone 281, the intense Mediterranean blue adorning the bottle neck. The wine pays tribute to the sea that influences the vineyard and to Etienne Matton, who in the 1970s began cloning Minuty’s exclusive Grenache vines that today form the backbone of this cuvée.
The 2024 vintage comes from a selection of the estate’s finest plots on schist, clay, and sand terroirs. Grapes are hand-picked, with only free-run juice used. Vinification is carried out at low temperatures in stainless steel without malolactic fermentation to preserve purity.
