Deanston Virgin Oak Cask Strength Batch No. 2 is a limited-edition Highland single malt released in 2026 to mark the distillery's 60th anniversary. Bottled at 60.7% ABV, this second cask strength edition builds on the established Deanston Virgin Oak expression, with a focus on American oak maturation and the distillery's characteristic waxy, honeyed spirit.
The whisky is initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before undergoing a finishing period of up to 12 months in virgin American oak. This secondary maturation introduces additional oak influence, contributing vanilla sweetness, toasted coconut, baking spices and charred oak characteristics. Maker's Mark Cellar Aged (2026 Release) is an annual limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that explores the effects of extended maturation while retaining the distillery's characteristic wheated bourbon style.
Unlike traditional Maker's Mark expressions, which are generally matured for shorter periods, Cellar Aged undergoes a two-stage maturation process. The bourbon initially ages in traditional warehouses before selected barrels are transferred to the distillery's limestone cellar. The cellar provides a cooler and more consistent environment, slowing the maturation process and allowing the whiskey to develop additional complexity while managing the influence of oak.
The expression is made using Maker's Mark's traditional mash bill, which replaces rye with soft red winter wheat alongside corn and malted barley. This approach contributes to the distillery's characteristically rounded profile, while the extended ageing introduces greater depth from the charred American oak barrels.
The 2026 release continues the Cellar Aged series, focusing on the relationship between barrel selection, maturation conditions and the development of older Kentucky bourbon.
For the 2026 edition, the blend consists of 49% 11 Year Old, 33% 12 Year Old and 18% 14 Year Old bourbon. Each component spends approximately seven years in traditional warehouses, followed by a further four to six years in the limestone cellar. This is the fourth annual Cellar Aged release since the series began in 2023, bottled at cask strength of 56.05% ABV.

The Reserva PX represents one of the most intensely flavoured expressions in the Glencadam range, shaped decisively by the Pedro Ximénez Sherry butts sourced from Andalucía, Spain, in which it receives its final maturation. Produced at Glencadam's historic distillery in Brechin, Angus — in operation since 1825 — this small-batch release draws on single malt selected by the Master Distiller from the distillery's dunnage warehouses, where years of ex-bourbon maturation have laid a rich and fruited foundation for the PX cask to work upon.
Pedro Ximénez is among the most intensely sweet and concentrated of all sherry styles, and its influence here is profound — drawing out dark fruit, baking spice and confected richness that places this expression firmly at the indulgent end of the Glencadam spectrum. The result is a whisky of considerable depth and complexity, bottled unchillfiltered at natural colour. A collection-worthy release and a compelling gift for those who favour richness and character in their single malt. Bunnahabhain distilled this whisky in 1999. Ten years later, it was moved into an Amontillado sherry cask, then Oloroso, then Manzanilla — three casks applied in sequence rather than simultaneously, each one following the last. Seven years of sequential finishing followed the initial ten years of maturation, for twenty-three years total.
Bunnahabhain is one of the few distilleries on Islay producing unpeated whisky. This bottle carries no peat. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.3%, non-chill filtered, with no added colour.
This release is one of 4,002 individually numbered bottles from the Feis Île 2024 release, Bunnahabhain's annual festival bottling. It is not part of the distillery's standard core range.

Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky spent a further 12 years in González Byass Oloroso sherry casks, developing a rich and concentrated character while retaining Tobermory’s distinctive fruit-led style. Bottled at 53.1% ABV, it is also the highest-strength expression of the later Hebridean releases.
The extended Oloroso maturation brings layers of dark fruit, warming spice and mature oak, complemented by brighter notes of apricot, orange and pineapple. At 27 years old, it represents the culmination of the series’ progression through increasingly long periods of sherry maturation.
Presented as Expression 5, Tobermory 27 Year Old is a fitting final chapter for collectors of the Hebridean Series and an impressive example of long-aged, heavily sherried Tobermory.

Craigellachie 17 Year Old begins its life in a blend of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks. After the initial maturation period, the whisky divides — half moving into first-fill Sherry casks, the other half into first-fill Bourbon casks. The result is a single malt of genuine complexity: the richness of sherry balanced against the vanilla and oak of bourbon, neither overpowering the other.
True to the distillery's uncompromising character, the 17 is bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration and no caramel colouring.
Every grain of malt in this whisky was turned by hand on The Balvenie's own malting floor.
The distillery has worked that floor since 1931, but it normally supplies only part of the barley Balvenie uses. For this limited edition Twelve Year Old, it supplied all of it. Malt Master Kelsey McKechnie built the whisky around that malt, so the character of the barley sits at the centre of the flavour.
The spirit matured for many years in American oak, which brings vanilla and gentle spice. It was then finished in ex-sherry bodega European oak butts from Jerez for added depth. It is bottled at 47.5%, a stronger bottling that holds on to more of the spirit's character. Try it neat first, then add a drop of water.

Crafted in Glasgow since 1823, Auchentoshan is one of Scotland's few remaining Lowland distilleries and the only one to triple distil every drop of its spirit. The 24 Year Old was released to mark the distillery's 200th anniversary and represents the highest-aged expression in the current Auchentoshan range. Ellis & Angel 10 Year Old Maiden Voyage Release is a limited edition Irish Single Malt Whiskey produced in Drogheda, Co. Louth, Ireland. Released as a single cask expression, the Maiden Voyage combines a 10 year age statement with a limited outturn of just 360 individually numbered bottles.
The whiskey was initially matured in American oak before being finished in a French oak Bordeaux wine cask. This two-stage maturation brings together the influence of American oak with a final period in wine-seasoned French oak. The release is triple distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at natural colour.
Bottled at 46% ABV, the Maiden Voyage Release marks Ellis & Angel's first limited release, with its single cask production and individually numbered bottles forming a central part of the expression.
The second release in Laphroaig's Strong Characters series celebrates Dugald Johnston, one of the figures who helped shape the distillery's history.
Following the death of his father Donald Johnston in 1847, Dugald took responsibility for Laphroaig at an extraordinarily young age. Before he was 21, he had learned the complexities of Laphroaig whisky production and farm management, later helping to grow the distillery in both size and reputation.
Chapter 2 tells his story through a 35 Year Old Laphroaig, matured in the distillery's signature American oak casks, barrels and hogsheads. After three and a half decades of maturation, the whisky retains Laphroaig's unmistakable character, with peat smoke and spice developing into a creamy mouthfeel alongside fruit and oak.
The presentation is an important part of the release. Laphroaig commissioned award winning British illustrator Bill Bragg, who spent time sketching on Islay and immersing himself in island life before creating the artwork that brings Dugald Johnston's story to life.
Combining 35 year old Laphroaig, distillery heritage and commissioned artwork, Strong Characters Chapter 2 continues the collectible series that began with Donald Johnston in Chapter 1.
