This small batch expression was developed by Master Blender Stephanie Macleod, one of the most decorated figures in Scotch whisky, and introduces an innovative four-stage ageing process that takes the distillery's established double-ageing philosophy considerably further. The process begins with the single malt and grain whiskies aged separately for 21 years. In the most recent Limited Edition release from Ledaig, the whisky brims with flavor, having been fully matured in red wine casks and bottled at cask strength (56.8% ABV).
