Bunnahabhain 23 Year Triple Sherry Wood Finish (Feis Ile 2024 Release)

Bunnahabhain distilled this whisky in 1999. Ten years later, it was moved into an Amontillado sherry cask, then Oloroso, then Manzanilla — three casks applied in sequence rather than simultaneously, each one following the last. Seven years of sequential finishing followed the initial ten years of maturation, for twenty-three years total. Bunnahabhain is one of the few distilleries on Islay producing unpeated whisky. This bottle carries no peat. It is bottled at cask strength, 53.3%, non-chill filtered, with no added colour. This release is one of 4,002 individually numbered bottles from the Feis Île 2024 release, Bunnahabhain's annual festival bottling. It is not part of the distillery's standard core range. Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:Nose: Freshly baked almond pastries are met with sweet berries, creamy fudge, rose petals and a hint of desiccated coconut.Palate: Fresh vanilla pods, butterscotch and creamy strawberries are balanced with honeyed cashews, wood spice and a gentle hint of tobacco.Finish: Dry finish with pine needles and blackcurrants

Tobermory 27 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish (Expression 5)

Tobermory 27 Year Old is the fifth and final expression in the distillery’s Hebridean Series, bringing the collection to a close with its oldest and most powerful release. Initially matured in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky spent a further 12 years in González Byass Oloroso sherry casks, developing a rich and concentrated character while retaining Tobermory’s distinctive fruit-led style. Bottled at 53.1% ABV, it is also the highest-strength expression of the later Hebridean releases. The extended Oloroso maturation brings layers of dark fruit, warming spice and mature oak, complemented by brighter notes of apricot, orange and pineapple. At 27 years old, it represents the culmination of the series’ progression through increasingly long periods of sherry maturation. Presented as Expression 5, Tobermory 27 Year Old is a fitting final chapter for collectors of the Hebridean Series and an impressive example of long-aged, heavily sherried Tobermory. Tasting Notes by Tobermory:Nose: An aroma rich with the scent of cinnamon pastries and dark black fruits. Sweet apricot and dried figs are joined by the earthy notes of toasted oak, all rounded off with a bright twist of orange zest.Palate: A thick layer of marmalade spreads across the palate, complemented by warming cinnamon spice. The flavours unfold to reveal fig rolls, blackcurrant, and brambles, with a touch of honey-roasted nuts and a hint of treacle toffee.Finish: The finish is steady and lasting, featuring red berry compote, fresh mandarins, and a pinch of nutmeg for good measure.

Royal Brackla 23 Year Old 2000 Tokaji White Wine Finish (Exceptional Cask Series)

Distilled on 12th July 2000 and matured for two decades in a refill puncheon, this double cask expression was finished in a Tokaji (white wine) cask from 12th August 2021, chosen and overseen personally by Royal Brackla's Malt Master, Stephanie Macleod. Royal Brackla holds a unique place in whisky history as the first single malt ever granted a Royal Warrant, earning it the name "The King's Own Whisky." Founded in 1812 by Captain William Fraser, the distillery's Highland character has always leaned toward the elegant and the fruit-driven, qualities this cask brings fully into focus. The Tokaji finish draws on Hungary's celebrated dessert wine tradition, known for its botrytis-affected grapes and concentrated, honeyed sweetness. That influence shows clearly here: ripe peaches and apricots up front, mellowed by frangipane and a soft, lingering note of coconut. This is a double cask bottling from a single distillation date. 258 bottles exist worldwide, and there's no second batch behind this specific cask pairing.Tasting Note by Royal Brackla:Deliciously supple with ripe peaches and apricots, mellowed with fragipane and soft coconut.

Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Argentinian Malbec Wine Cask Finish

The Aberfeldy 21 Year Old Argentinian Malbec Cask Finish is the result of a remarkable collaboration between Malt Master Stephanie Macleod and award-winning winemaker Daniel Pi of Finca Ambrosia, one of Argentina's most prestigious estates. Having travelled to the Uco Valley in Argentina, Stephanie personally selected Malbec casks from Finca Ambrosia to bring an entirely new dimension to the Aberfeldy character — a partnership between two masters of their craft that has produced something genuinely distinctive within the distillery's wine cask series. Aberfeldy Distillery was established in 1898 in Perthshire, drawing process water from the gold-laced Pitilie Burn and producing a fruity, richly honeyed Highland single malt in alembic copper pot stills crafted by Forsyths. Here, 21 years of patient maturation have been completed by a finishing period in Malbec wine casks, which lend vivid red fruit character, gentle floral notes and a subtle tartness that sits in elegant balance with the distillery's signature honeyed sweetness. Bottled at 46% ABV, this limited edition release is as well suited to the collector as it is to the enthusiast seeking something beyond the expected. Tasting Note by Aberfeldy: Evolving aromas of juicy strawberries glazed with sweet Highland honey, gently brightened by hints of fresh blackcurrant. This bouquet gives way to delicate floral notes of rose and violet, underscored by a subtle touch of warming cinnamon spice. On the palate, vibrant fruit flavours come alive, gracefully melting into creamy vanilla and concluding with a wonderfully smooth, lingering finish.

  • Sale -21%Best Seller Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera

    Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Solera

Established in 1887 by William Grant in Dufftown, Speyside, Glenfiddich has always been defined by a willingness to innovate within a tradition of uncompromising quality. The distillery remains family-owned across five generations, and it is that independence of spirit that has allowed it to pursue techniques rarely seen elsewhere in Scotch whisky production. The Solera Fifteen is perhaps the most distinctive expression of that curiosity, built around a process more commonly associated with the production of fine Sherry and Madeira than with single malt whisky. At the heart of the 15 Year Old is a Solera Vat that has never been fully emptied since it was first filled in 1998. Kept perpetually at least half full, the vat brings together whiskies matured in three distinct cask types including new oak, American oak and Sherry oak, which marry continuously over time to create a whisky of layered complexity and remarkable consistency. As each portion is drawn off for bottling, it carries with it the accumulated character of every whisky that has rested in the vat before it, producing a depth of flavour that belies the 15 Year Old age statement. A genuinely distinctive bottle for a collection and an assured gift for anyone with an appreciation for craft and curiosity in equal measure. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: An intriguingly complex aroma. Sweet heather honey and vanilla fudge combined with rich dark fruits.Palate: Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour.Finish: Satisfyingly rich with lingering sweetness.

Bunnahabhain 15 Year Old Turas Math No.1 (The Westering Home Collection)

Founded in 1881 on the remote northern shore of Islay, Bunnahabhain sits at the end of a single-track road on the Sound of Islay, making it one of the most isolated and characterful distilleries in Scotland. Its unusually tall, pear-shaped stills with elongated swan necks produce a lighter, oilier spirit than its Islay neighbours, and the distillery is notably one of the few on the island to work with unpeated barley. Mineral-rich water drawn from the Margadale Spring, sea air rolling in off the Sound, and a philosophy of non-chill filtration without added colour define the Bunnahabhain house style across every expression. Turas Math No.1 is the opening release in the Westering Home Collection, a three-part series rooted in the distillery's maritime heritage. The whisky is a marriage of two exceptional cask journeys, personally selected by Master Blender Julieann Fernandez. The first parcel was distilled in 2008 and spent its full 15 years maturing in Manzanilla Sherry casks from Jerez. The second parcel matured for a decade in refill casks before receiving a five-year finish in Amarone wine casks from the Veneto region of Italy. The union of these two paths produces a whisky of layered sweetness, coastal character and considered complexity, bottled at cask strength without chill-filtration or added colour. A compelling collector's release and an equally distinguished gift. Tasting Note by Bunnahabhain:Nose: A burst of dark fruits including black cherries, plums, and blackberries, intertwined with cloves and roasted nuts.Palate: Fresh cinnamon pastries and treacle toffee blend with hazelnut, dried figs, and soft herbal notes.Finish: Warm spices linger on the palate, accented by a hint of sea spray.

Glenfiddich 21 Year Old Gran Reserva Rum Cask Finish

Distilled and matured at the Glenfiddich Distillery in Dufftown, at the heart of Speyside, this 21 year old expression represents one of the most distinctive releases in the distillery's core range. Founded in 1887 by William Grant, Glenfiddich remains family owned and is one of the most celebrated single malt producers in Scotland. Two decades of patient maturation in traditional oak casks allows the distillery's signature character to develop fully before Malt Master Brian Kinsman hand selects individual barrels for the final stage. Those selected casks are transferred into Caribbean reserva rum casks for a finishing period that introduces a layer of tropical warmth and spice to the established Speyside foundation. The result is a whisky of considerable complexity, balancing the restrained richness of a long Speyside maturation with the more animated character that rum cask finishing imparts. At 40% ABV, it is approachable without sacrificing depth, and presents exceptionally well as a gift or a considered addition to a maturing collection. Tasting Note by Glenfiddich:Nose: Intense and vanilla sweet. Floral, hints of banana, figs, rich toffee, new leather and oak.Palate: Initially soft, then brisk, vibrant and drying, peppery, a touch of smoke, oak, lime, ginger and spices.Finish: Very long, warming, dry and spicy.

The distillery's famously small, curiously shaped stills produce a robust and fruity new make spirit that is ideally suited to long maturation in quality oak, and it is the cask, above all else, that defines The Macallan's house philosophy. Every bottle in the Sherry Oak Collection carries entirely natural colour, a commitment that speaks directly to the integrity of the maturation process and the quality of the casks selected. Unlike most of its island neighbours, Bunnahabhain is celebrated for its unpeated house style, producing a lighter, oilier spirit from its unusually tall, pear-shaped stills whose elongated swan necks prevent heavier flavour compounds from reaching the cut. Mineral-rich water drawn from the Margadale Spring, sea air rolling in directly off the Sound, and a commitment to non-chill filtration without added colour define every expression across the range. Eighteen years of coastal maturation in Sherry casks transforms Bunnahabhain's naturally gentle spirit into something of genuine richness and depth. The extended time in wood draws out layers of dried fruit, honeyed nuttiness and warming spice, whilst the distillery's seafront warehouses leave their mark in the faintest whisper of sea salt that runs through the palate. Bottled at 46.3% ABV without chill-filtration, this is a classic example of what patient, sherry-led maturation achieves when the spirit beneath it is given the time and environment it deserves.
